 Any candidate, a political party official or a political committee official or their authorized designee shall be provided reasonable access to review or inspect ballot materials, upon request by calling the City of Alachua, Deputy City Clerk’s Office at 386-418-6103 and request access.  Ballot materials include voter certificates on vote-by-mail envelopes, cure affidavits, corresponding comparison signatures, duplicate ballots, and corresponding originals.  An appointment will be set up for a qualified person to have access to review and/or inspect the voting materials within one business day of the request, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at the office of the Deputy City Clerk in the Alachua City Hall located at 15100 NW 142 Ter.

 All persons authorized by Florida Statute 101.572(2), which are listed above, who wish to review and/or inspect ballot materials shall complete the “Attestation to Review Election Materials” which can be found on the City of Alachua’s website and is also available at the office of the Deputy City Clerk.  This Attestation must be completed before he or she will be granted access to review the ballot materials.

Authorized designees must also provide a signed letter from the candidate or the entity designating he or she as their authorized designee before they will be provided access to ballot materials.
