Jason Baker is the Public Services Information Technology Project Coordinator (PSITPC) for the City of Alachua. He is responsible for the planning, implementation and management of technology-based projects for the Public Services Department. He ensures that technology-based projects meet and exceed security and best practice standards.
Baker has been with the City of Alachua for more than 9 years and brings 30 years of experience in Information Technology. Before becoming the PSITPC, he gained broad experience as the Technology Director for Natural Retail Group, a natural food grocery store, and he implemented live video streaming software and hardware for the Tampa Police Department.
