City of Alachua, FL

Michelle Lightsey is the Warehouse Manager for the City of Alachua. She receives, stocks and issues parts in support of the City Utilities.  She maintains accurate inventory by forecasting City Utility responsive needs and Capital Improvement Projects.  

Lightsey maintains a Public Health Pest Control License and is the Mosquito Control Supervisor.  She tracks the number and types of mosquitoes in our area and the germs they may be spreading.  Mrs. Lightsey shares prevention information with the public and uses multiple methods at the same time to kill mosquito larvae and adult mosquitoes.
