Kristy Thornton is a Building Assistant for the City of Alachua. She supports the Public Services department by providing information related to building permit requirements, codes and inspection procedures to contractors, design professionals and the general public. She also processes building permit applications and issues building permits.

Thornton assists the public in the completion of forms and documents related to the building permit process. She also provides via phone and in-person at City Hall technical assistance regarding the application process.
