This is a representation of how each property tax dollar is divided for property owners in the City of Alachua. For every property tax dollar a City of Alachua property owner pays, only 21.5¢ is received by the City of Alachua, while a total of 78.5¢ is received by other taxing authorities. The City of Alachua Commission strives to provide our residents high quality services while levying the lowest possible millage rate.
