Contractor Licensing Requirements

It is the Qualifier’s responsibility:
  • to keep all business, licensing, and requirements current with the City of Alachua
  • to provide updated copies for City of Alachua files

This includes:

  • all insurance certificates
  • any change of address or telephone information
  • state license
  • qualifying business license
  • occupational license (or occupational license from home county)
  • driver’s license
  • liability insurance
  • all certificates of insurance must have City of Alachua as the certificate holder @ PO Box 9, Alachua, FL 32616
  • must have the licensee’s name (qualifier)
  • must have the company name
  • must have the minimum liability insurance of $500,000
  • must have worker’s compensation insurance or exemption
