Widely regarded·as the area's best and most diverse program, the Alachua Recreation Department offers year-round activities and facilities for its wide range of sports and fitness programs. Director Brady has been the driving force for more than a decade, and is committed to continue offering the finest, most comprehensive program available locally.

From seasonal leagues--football, softball, volleyball, soccer and others--to the infrequent tennis player, there is opportunity for all to participate. Committee # 1 - Friends of the Down Town Main Street Allen Hitchcocks Theater Park.

Committee # 2 - Friends of the Alachua, Florida Nature Trail Park.

A.· Intersted individuals please come and sign-up. The two boards will meet biomonthly. a day and time will be determined when the board is organized.

B.· Individuals will make recommendations of ideas for Signage-Special Events and Beatifications of each area.
