The City of Alachua is launching a median sponsorship program for landscaped medians located along US Highway 441. We are extending sponsorship opportunities to business owners in Alachua to be part of this exciting beautification project.
There are a total of 22 median sponsorship signs, with two signs per median. These signs will be brown and white, according to the Florida Department of Transportation specifications. Sign faces will include “Median By” and a space for your business name. These signs are comparable to those you may have seen in communities with median sponsorship, or “adopt-a-median” programs.
Sign faces will be vinyl. Sponsors must purchase the sign face through the City. Up to two names may be placed on each sign face.
The cost per median sponsorship is $100.00 monthly with an annual contract. The monies generated from median sponsorship will be used toward the continued maintenance, improvement, and beautification of the landscaped medians. Median sponsorship will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis, so respond quickly!
