C.                 First reading of Ordinance 09-25 of the City of Alachua, Florida; amending the City’s Personnel Rules and Regulations last amended by Ordinance 06-33, by herewith making changes to all chapters in the form of editing changes such as a modification of terminology from masculine to gender neutral, change to Chapter III – Recruitment, Selection and Employment, Chapter IV – Classification Plan, Chapter V – Compensation Plan, Chapter VI – Leave, Chapter VII – Other Personnel and Related Subjects, Chapter VIII – Separations and Disciplinary Actions, Chapter IX – Grievance Policy, Chapter X – Harassment, Chapter XI – Drug Free Workplace Policy; Repealing  Ordinance 06-33 and all other Ordinances in conflict herewith, providing severability, providing an effective date and adding Chapter XII – Motor Vehicle Use, Chapter XIII – Safety Program, Chapter XIV – Violence in the Workplace, Chapter SV – Domestic or Sexual Violence, Chapter XVI – Guns, Weapons and Dangerous Materials, Chapter XVII – Computer, Email, Internet and Photocopier use, Chapter XVIII – Public Employee Oath; Changing “Rules and Regulations” to “Policies and Procedures.”

D.                First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 09 29: A request by Causseaux, Hewett and Walpole, Inc., to amend Sections 3.1.1, 3.4.2, 4.1.1, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.4.2, 5.1.2, 6.6.2, 6.8.2, 6.8.3, 7.2.5 and 10.2, and tables 3.1-1, 4.1-1, 4.3-1, 4.4-1, 5.1-2, and 7.2-1 of the City of Alachua Land Development
Regulations related to the creation of a new zoning district category of Residential Single Family-4 (RSF-4).  The amendment as proposed by the applicant would result in a new zoning district category permitting a density of four (4) dwelling units per acre (this is a legislative hearing).

E.                 First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 09 30: An Ordinance of the City of Alachua, Florida, amending sections 2.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.2, 2.4.4, 2.4.9 and Tables 2.1-1 and 2.2-1 of the City of Alachua’s Land Development Regulations to designate the City Commission as the final decision-making body for site plan applications and special exception permit applications which consist of a building greater than or equal to 80,000 square feet in area.  (This is a Legislative Hearing).
