A. First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 12 02: An Ordinance of the City of Alachua, Florida; Amending Section 38-164 of the Code of Ordinances; Creating Section 138-178 of the Code of Ordinances; Providing for Interconnection and Net Metering of Customer-Owned Regeneration Systems to the City’s Electric System; Providing for Severability; Repealing All Ordinances in Conflict; and Providing for an Effective Date—Mike New

i. First reading, Ordinance 12 02; Consideration of approval of the above stated Ordinance

ii. Public Hearing to consider adoption of the above referenced Ordinance

B. Second Reading and Second Public Hearing of Ordinance 11 10: A request by Eng, Denman & Associates, Inc., agent for Property 441, LLC., owner, for consideration of a Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment (LSCPA) to the City of Alachua Future Land Use Map from Alachua County Rural Employment Center to City of Alachua Community Commercial (±8.5 acres) and Residential Moderate Density (±8.31 acres). The ±16.81 acre subject property for the proposed Large Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment is located between the southerly right-of-way of US Highway 441 and the Turkey Creek Development of Regional Impact, Alachua, Florida. Existing FLUM: Alachua County Rural Employment Center; Zoning: Alachua County Agriculture (A); Tax Parcel No. 05899-001-000. (this is a legislative hearing).—Brandon Stubbs

C. Second Reading and Second Public Hearing of Ordinance 11-11: An amendment to Section 2-573 of the Code of Ordinances to add language to bring Section 2-573 in compliance with a change to Section 790.33, Florida Statutes.  The change to F.S. 790.33 preempts to the state legislature all regulation of firearms and ammunition thereby requiring the City to amend its Code of Ordinances and add the offered language to eliminate any such conflict—Grafton Wilson

i. Second reading, Ordinance 11 11; Consideration of approval of the above stated Ordinance

ii. Public Hearing to consider adoption of the above referenced Ordinance

D. Second and Final Reading and Public Hearing of Ordinance 11-12: An amendment to Section 6-2  of the Code of Ordinances to add language to bring Section 6-2  in compliance with a change to Section 790.33, Florida Statutes.  The change to F.S.790.33 preempts to the state legislature all regulation of firearms and ammunition thereby requiring the City to amend its Code of Ordinances and add the offered language to eliminate any such regulation or conflict—Grafton Wilson

E. First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 12 01: A request by C. David Coffey P.A., agent for Gainesville Investment Group, LLC, owner, for a Site Specific Amendment to the Official Zoning Atlas (rezoning), to amend the Official Zoning Atlas from Agriculture (A) to Residential Single Family – 3 (RSF-3). The ±1.74 acre subject property is located east of the intersection of Turkey Creek Boulevard and NW 105th Avenue, within Turkey Creek Development of Regional Impact (DRI); Future Land Use Map (FLUM) Designation: Moderate Density Residential; Tax Parcel No.: 05923-010-000.This is a quasi-judicial hearing—Justin Tabor
