First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 12 05: A request by Causseaux, Hewett, & Walpole, Inc., to amend the City’s Comprehensive Plan to add a new Objective 1.4 to the Future Land Use Element establishing the Corporate Park Future Land Use Map (FLUM) Designation; and to add policies implementing the Corporate Park FLUM Designation. First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 12 06: A request by Causseaux, Hewett, & Walpole, Inc., to amend Article 3 of the City’s Land Development Regulations to establish the Corporate Park (CP) zoning district; to amend Articles 4, 5, and 6 of the City’s Land Development Regulations to establish implementing regulations for the Corporate Park (CP) zoning district; and to amend Articles 4 and 10 of the City’s Land Development Regulations to establish a new use type and definition of “Medical Radioisotope Laboratory.” This is a legislative hearing.—Justin Tabor
F. First Reading and First Public Hearing of Ordinance 12 07: an ordinance of the city of Alachua, Florida, relating to the large scale amendment of the city of Alachua comprehensive plan future land use map: 2015; amending the future land use map classification from agriculture (±227.75 acres) and industrial (±48.14 acres) to corporate park (±275.89 acres) on approximately 275.89 acres; located east of county road 241 (NW 140th street), south of hidden meadows subdivision, the city of Alachua waste water treatment facility, and the progress corporate park PUD, west of San Felasco hammock preserve state park, and north of Shaw Farms of Alachua, Alachua, Florida.
