The City of Alachua is holding Neighborhood Meetings on Jan. 26, 2012 and Feb. 7, 2012 to discuss proposed modifications and resurfacing to City roads. The City’s Public Services staff maintains a log of road segments, prioritizes the road segments based on need, and then initiates plans to resurface the road segments with the highest priority. The following road segments are planned for modifications and resurfacing during the 2011-2012 Fiscal Year:
- NW 135 Terrace from US Highway 441 south to NW 147 Avenue
- NW 147 Avenue from NW 135 Terrace west to NW 137 Terrace
- NW 137 Terrace from NW 147 Avenue south to NW 146 Avenue
- NW 141 Street from NW 154 Avenue to NW 158 Avenue
- NW 133 Terrace from US Highway 441 to NW 155 Place
