The City of Alachua, Florida, by and through its City Commission, will consider the adoption of the Evaluation and Appraisal Report of the City of Alachua Comprehensive Plan, for transmittal to the Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA) for its review of sufficiency pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 163.3191, Florida Statutes.
Prior to its adoption, a public hearing will be held on August 23, 2010 at 6:30 pm.

The proposed report may be inspected by the public at the Planning and Community Development Department, City Hall, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. weekdays or on the City’s website www.cityofalachua.com. Interested parties are encouraged to appear at these hearings and provide comments regarding the proposed report.
At the public hearing, all interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed resolution. Copies of the proposed resolution, the EAR Report, and related materials are available for public inspection at the Planning and Community Development Department or at the Office of the City Clerk, 15100 NW 142nd Terrace, on any regular business day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the Friday prior to the City Commission meeting.
