Application Submittals: Guidelines for All Applications

In order to facilitate the review of your application, you will need to submit copies of the application and supporting materials during the Development Review Process. The number of copies to submit varies based upon the application type. Please reference the submittal requirements provided below for additional information about the number of copies to submit, format requirements, and deadlines for submitting materials.

For ALL application types and submittals:


Submittal Requirements: Administrative Reviews*
* Includes submittals for Certificates of Appropriateness (Minor Review) and Minor Site Plans.

All application materials (except for plans) should be bound with a binder clip ONLY.

Initial Application Submittals / Submittals Responding to Completeness:
** Materials must be provided when application is first submitted or when responding to completeness review comments **

Submittal Requirements: Site Plans & Subdivisions**
** Subdivisions include Preliminary Plats, Construction Plans, and Final Plats.

All application materials (except for plans) should be bound with a binder clip ONLY.

Initial Application Submittals / Submittals Responding to Completeness:
** Materials must be provided when application is first submitted or when responding to completeness review comments **

Each Resubmittal (after review comments are issued):
** Materials must be submitted within the time frame provided by Project Planner **

Prior to Planning & Zoning Board (PZB) Public Hearings:
** Materials must be submitted no less than ten (10) business days prior to the PZB Public Hearing **

 For Site Plans and Construction Plans, Following Approval:

Submittal Requirements: All Other Applications***
*** Includes applications for Certificates of Appropriateness (Major Review), Comprehensive Plan Amendments, Rezonings, Special Exception Permits, Variance Permits, and Voluntary Annexations.

 All application materials (except for plans) should be bound with a binder clip ONLY.

Each Resubmittal (after review comments are issued):
** Materials must be submitted within the time frame provided by Project Planner **

Presentation Requirements

All materials, including PowerPoints, to be presented by the applicant during a public meeting must be submitted to the Planning & Community Development Department no later than 12:00 PM of the last City business day preceding the meeting date. Materials may be submitted by email or by providing a compact disc (CD) to the Project Planner.
